Northern Piedmont Community Foundation manages the scholarship application process for over 46 scholarships. Almost all of our scholarships may be applied for online using a universal application. The universal application is a new process created for us in the Fall of 2019. The application process begins with creating an account for yourself online and then completing the universal application. Upon completion of the universal application, you, the applicant, will see the list of scholarships for which you are eligible. The work will be done! You may have come into this process anticipating applying only for one scholarship, however as a result of the use of a universal application, the answers to all the questions on your application will determine your eligibility for any other scholarship in which you meet the criteria.
Please note that you will be asked to upload the SAR (Student Aid Report). The SAR is produced and sent to your family once your family has completed and submitted the FAFSA. While we know and understand that sharing information about your finances is a bit anxiety producing, here at Northern Piedmont Community Foundation, your information will be treated with the utmost respect and kept completely confidential. When financial need is a criteria and we have multiple and equally qualified students applying for one scholarship, we seek out the greatest need to help determine the award. Unfortunately, the FAFSA is a necessary beast to the process. If you did not apply for FAFSA, you may upload the first two pages of your families tax return (1040) - the most recent available to you.
Also, please note that we understand there is a fee associated with asking for your SAT/ACT scores. All we seek is a screen shot - a screen of your score(s) may be uploaded along with your application.

It is the STUDENT'S responsibility to ensure that all recommendations, financial aid forms, and other materials are uploaded for review by March 19, 2023 at 11:59 pm. Incomplete applications will not be considered for review.
